How long after completing radiation did you have your exchange surgery?

5 months. I had redness and peeling after radiation. No broken skin. My plastic surgeon said he likes to wait until the skin is completely healed around 4 months. Then I had work conflicts with scheduling the surgery, so it ended up being 5 months.
