So I had a bilateral mastectomy 5 weeks ago. I will get my implants next. Wondering what everyone did for the nipple and areola?

There are lots of cool “mastectomy tattoos” that are creative and fun. I’m scheduled for a nipple construction end of June. After that I will probably get an areola tattoo, apparently some tattoo artists specialize in this and make it pretty realistic.

I’m interested in this too. I had mastectomy with reconstruction but not sure what I want to do about the nipple. Interested in others’ experiences with this.

Apparently about 2-3 weeks. He said I will have a dressing on it for 2 weeks and then we’ll see.
