Hello DeniseMorrell. I don't have BRCA2. It will be a year for me in July being on Anastrozole. From the very first day I have not any bad side effects. My oncologist decided that I would be on for five years. In the beginning I didn't really want to take the hormone therapy pill. Now I feel okay taking it and no regrets. I was diagnosed in December 2022 with DCIS Stage 0 unfiltered, non invasive and grade 3. Lumpectomy and radiation in 2023 and all went well. Doctors found something suspicious in my right breast in January, thinking it was recurrence for me. Fortunately it was benign and I am doing well and being monitored. Hope all the best for you.🙏🌹👍🥰
