Thank you for all your help. I am scheduled to see a plastic surgeon on the 18th. Hopefully after seeing her I can decide. I am thinking about visiting with a friend of my stylist. She could not have reconstruction and was going to do it later. She said she no longer wants reconstruction. She likes not having to wear a bra.

Flat and I am glad.
I am in my 3rd week recovering from reconstruction, 7 months after mastectomy. The recovery from this surgery has been much easier than the mastectomy, probably because of no drains. I think once I am healed I’m going to be pretty happy with the results. Once you have done your research, I wish you peace with your decision. 💕
Do your research. Everyone is different. I would recommend talking to some women who have gone flat & women who have done reconstruction….that may help you decide. Also maybe check out some prosthetic options to see if that is an option that might work for you. Delayed reconstruction is also an option in some cases.
