If you get the A/C cocktail, it’s usually between 11-15 days. Yes it hard to wait, and it’s hard to look at yourself bald- but it’s temporary. I just kept telling myself- I’ll do anything to kill every cancer cell in my body. I was also HER2+, so a lot more freaked out. Diagnosis Nov 2005. Still here and grateful for every day. Fight with your might and never give up. The side effects to chemo can be hard too- but again, temporary. Hang on tight. Surround yourself with positive people and be grateful for every day. How long after your last round of chemo did your hair started growing back?

First time there were 8 caps, 2nd time penguin dropped to 3 caps, I did not care for that because they didn't get cold enough on the top, I complained to owner of company. That said, I kept over 50% of my hair which was thick before...so worth it.

I followed advice of another pink warrior who said get a short hair cut so when the hair starts to go it won't be so drastic. Hair fell out between first and second chemo for HER2. Shaved my head after that and got some beautiful head coverings of all kinds. Kept my eye lashes and eyebrows... lost hair on legs and privates, but was ok with that.

Mine started after the third and I shaved my head after the fourth it was coming out in clumps
