Talked to my boss today - she says she “delayed” her surgery because of me & cannot delay any longer. I don’t understand why she said that if it’s a surgery that she’s been delaying for over a year…

I’m not sure who you work for but there are laws that protect you. She said those things to make you feel guilty. She is a narcissist. Ignore it. Look up all medical policies from your employer, Family Medical Leave and the ADA. If you are in a large company, talk to the HR department.
I’m so sorry this happened. Sometimes we need to say to people “you may not speak to me this way”. “I have my own medical issues to deal with. I can’t take on yours too.”
@A MyBCTeam Member Honestly, I wouldn't last a week with a boss like that. And a woman, yet. She should have more compassion. 'You chose to do chemo'? Like there was really a choice. The nerve. Karma is going to come back one day.

And yes, totally agree - she gets paid almost twice as me - it’s her problem to deal with the upper management, not me. I don’t think I get paid enough to deal with that!
All I have is WOW.... Unprofessional, inappropriate and rude. As far as KARMA....what goes around comes around, and I will live long enough to see it is generally what I say and think!
She needs to be verbally put in her place. Of course you did chemo, it's your life you're fighting for. It's not about her. In fact, her work issues are NOT your concern, she is the boss, she deals with it not you. Personally, I would create a statement to say to her to address her lack of professionalism and narcissistic behavior in this regard, so I was prepared, because you know she will do it again. You are important! Sending positive vibes your way.
