@A MyBCTeam Member those who are taking anastrozole by itself are post menopausal. Since its main mechanism of action is to prevent estradiol production from fat, it is reserved to be used by itself in post menopausal women without the needs of ovarian suppression. So any bleeding that one experiences as a post menopausal patient will need to be checked by your gynecologist. Please note that a combination of anastrozole plus anti CDK4/6 or with estrogen blocker such as fulvestrant in metastatic breast cancer. Hope this help
I did experience one period after taking my very first Lupron shot, but nothing since then. I’m pre-menopausal.
@A MyBCTeam Member yes it does given that you are pre- menopausal and currently receiving ovarian suppression (ie Lupron) as well. Please make appointment to see your gynecologist to check your uterus. Is it like spotting Gina or a full period?
