I've been using this generic Mederma for a couple of weeks, it seems to be working well (and it was BOGO!). I'm just about 8 weeks post-op, also had double mastectomy and implants. The gel seems to help lower redness and visibilty of the scars, and I try to massage along the incisions to reduce scar tissue. I bought Vitamin E and used it a couple of times, but after reading that it should not be used daily, I purchased the other gel.
