I think once your treatment is done it’s up to you to call for an appointment. Even If you are doing self exams and getting mammograms I would still think getting checked yearly is a must. An oncologist would do a manual Breast exam

If you are still taking meds then I would think you should be checked out every 6 months like Cassie is. They still have check to make sure it hasn't spread anywhere. Call for an appointment.

I'm on letrezol till July 2029. I have one more infusion in December. Afterwards no need to see her. She just needs to call in letrezol.

So you had estrogen receptors. Are you off of everything? And your mammograms' have been clear? I wonder how they check after so many years . Can doctors order CT scans if a patient is a former patient and not having any signs of reoccurrence just to check it ?

I havent seen my oncologist in about 4 years but will check with my primary care Dr to see what her thoughts are on this …😊Thank you for your responses 😊
