Melissa and Virginia, You were right. I went to my regular doctor and he said I have sinus issues which is causing the post nasal drip and gave me spray. He also said the in home covid tests are 75% correct so if I tool 2 and both negative most likely not covid is just due to the nasal drip. He did say and he used to be an oncology nurse he thinks a mastectomy may be better for me than a lumpectomy. If so I will be a unicorn too.
Agree with Melissa, the morning detail leads me to believe that it is drainage that because of your prone position is sitting longer where it has the time and opportunity to irritate. Everything is so dry- keep an eye on the weather report for air quality info- there may be a correlation. Hugs!
@A MyBCTeam Member Hi! I don't use the in-home covid tests. You stand a chance of getting a false negative or positive result. My friend was coming into town for a visit and he always used the in-home tests. It showed up negative on the test but he had been having problems with a post nasal drip and scratchy throat. He didn't want to take the chance of exposing me to covid, he went to the local health department for the better test. He showed positive results for covid! I've always gone to my local health department to get tested. I trust them more ! Just saying....π·ππβ€οΈ
@A MyBCTeam Member: buy a nasal flush to flush out your sinuses. Your throat might be more sore in the morning because of post-nasal drip during the night. π
I am going to order some though. Thank you.
