It does say that in the bathrooms at my cancer clinic also. I asked my doctor and she said that if you had small children or pets that might end up touching the toilet water this was recommended, otherwise it wasn’t that important. She said that just closing the lid when you flush is sufficient. That’s what I do.

I just looked it up. I cannot believe this . I have never heard of this before.

Thank you for responding. I was like that’s using a lot of water flushing twice after each use. I’m urinating a lot trying to keep hydrated.

OMGoodness, thats crazy. I never heard that. Almost like when your babies get the polio vaccines its like that because polio is a live virus.
