I'm on it since Feb. 2023. So far so good. I get some hot flashes but I did before. Nothing else so far. Just worried about the bone density part since I already have osteopenia in my hips.

I’m about 2 1/2 years into Letrozole, which is also hormone therapy. First months were tough, but my body “adjusted” to the side effects after several months. Still have hot flashes and I perspire like crazy. Headaches are better now, less often and not as severe. I think the fatigue is the most annoying. Best of luck to you. You will be in my prayers. 🫶

Started Anastrozole four months ago. At first I didn’t notice any side effects but now I’m tired a lot and experiencing joint pain in various parts of my body. Recently I started having pain in my teeth and tender gums. Anyone else experiencing tooth and gum issues?

I have been on it since December 2022. I too take Allegra daily. My symptoms are worse during rainy weather as I also have arthritis. Occasional hot flashes because I refuse to give up my morning coffee. My oncologist wants me to start infusions of Zometa because of potential bone loss from Anastrozole as I am 70 years old. I have to delay the infusions for a few months as I had a broken tooth pulled and Zometa can cause jaw bone to die. Fortunately my Anastrozole symptoms are relatively mild.
