Hi ladies... just wanted to update you on the letrozole... I feel great.. still a little slow getting up in the morning...but once moving... I'm good! Great change from anastrozole to the letrozole 👍
Thank you for your experience! I started the letrozole 5 days ago... I feel great so far 🎉 I hope I stay this way 🙏
Teresa4, SusanDeLisiVrana, BarbieDeMaiolo, & Annie5,
I hear you. I was started on Anastrozole and had horrible side effects- muscle and bone pain, ankles and knees felt like walking on shards of glass, hot flashes, vaginal dryness, eye dryness, and more. I was on it from October 2021-June 2022.
What I found that WORKED to decrease side effects for muscle and joint/bone pain- CoQ10, hot flashes- Estroven Complete, vaginal dryness- Replens. My Profile has information and pictures of the items in it if you would like to review.
In June 2022, I made the change with my Medical Oncologist to Letrozole and I have had much less side effects! So HAPPY.
Just wanted to share that there are ways to mitigate the side effects of the AI drugs. Also, I found that walking daily 1.5 -3.0 miles in the morning has helped me tremendously with the side effects. I know it sounds odd, but it works for me.
Feel free to connect with me if you have questions about my experiences. Thanks
Good luck. I was told that also but after 3 months I decided to try another. I thought I could get through it...but for me, it was almost as bad as chemo 😩 I couldn't imagine feeling like that every day forever. 🥴
Hello,
Yes, I am HR+(ER+, PR+) and HER2-.
Yes, NO Estrogen is correct. The ESTROVEN Complete has NO Estrogen it is a Rhubarb extract and the product was reviewed by my Medical Oncologist who approved its use prior to my starting it for “Hot Flashes”. The Name of the product is unfortunate. The product works GREAT. I swear by it.
Hope this explanation helps.
