There are different tumor marker tests used, some are blood tests, some are urine tests. Any can give false positives (or negatives), and they can fluctuate (as you already know). As you have already figured out, this battle doesn't end, but we do move from actively fighting, to a state of vigilance. Stress can affect your immune system, so as hard as it is- try to remind yourself that you are doing everything you can to minimize risk and then do something fun. If we live waiting and watching numbers go up and down, we will drive ourselves crazy. If women are getting good results with their scans then that should be enough. Scans see things. Numbers can be off for other reasons. Don't live by numbers.
