I do Doxorubicin and Cytoxan. The combo is called AC. I really have been lucky with minimal side effects. Doxorubicin is nicknamed Red Devil. My biggest issues has been fatigue, nausea, constipation on days 3-5. By day 6 I am still fatigued and nauseous but not as bad. My best recommendation is listen to your body. I switched my chemo from Tuesdays to Thursdays. Due to the steriods they give me prior to treatment, I feel like a rock star Thursday afternoons and on Fridays. By Saturday, I just want to sleep and it gives me the weekend to recover for work on Monday. I have done 2 rounds now and my 3rd is scheduled in 13 days.
