i need more info thanx...and how much does it costs?
The Oncotype score gives an indication of how helpful chemotherapy may be, and it can predict the rate of recurrence. Its cost depends on your insurance, which test facility it is sent to and whether cells from your ultrasound biopsy or from lymph node(s) removed are sent. In general, the facilities that do Oncotype scores are willing to work with patients for cost. My cells from the ultrasound biopsy were sent prior to surgery and prior to insurance agreeing to pay. The facility estimated my cost without insurance would be $250 or as low as zero.
yes it is but it is worthy....maybe i dont need chemo just radio & hormonal therapy......
Wow! That’s a lot!
i already find out...it is around 4000$....
Where I work, we send a request to get a prior authorization before we submit. Not sure on the cost, but I have heard it is expensive. You can ask your provider for the customer support number, otherwise, I work Monday. I can send it to you next week.
