You are not being a baby. Cancer is scary. Ask your doctors lots of questions. I remember being overwhelmed too. It helps to know what will happen so you will be prepared. Praying for you.😇

Thank you for the feedback. Just to get some answers and a better understanding of what to expect sure helps lessen my fear of the unknown. I just hate feeling like I am being a baby about this. Thanks again and God bless.

I just finished 30 rounds of radiation. It is honestly not bad at all for the first several weeks. The effects are cumulative, so that very last week, and the 2 weeks after finishing will be the hardest on your skin. My advice is, use the cream your radiation oncologist recommends faithfully at least 2x day throughout the entire treatment, and drink lots of water. You most likely won't feel overally fatigued until that last week, also.
One more thing to mention, if you have had a mastectomy and are experiencing tightness and limited range of motion, definitely see a physical therapist to help with getting your arms, shoulders, and chest wall ready for the position of radiation. You will need to lay down with arms up and above your head for treatment. It is not easy if you have tightness from surgery.
