They are so careful where they radiate, and it is so precise. They have you hold your breath to raise breast away from your heart. I had 25 on the left with no problems.
Yes, there are risks, ask your doctor to give you the percentages.

Try not to focus on things that could happen and focus on things that already has. The benefit of radiation out weight the probability of having a problem with your heart or lungs. I had 20 rounds of radiation as fter my chemo and lumpectomy. Everything turned out fine. Your doctor will keep a close eye on everything. Good luck with your journey!
