How strong I am and how willing I am to fight for a normal life for myself and my family!!!
I was scared as I had gone through it before and all the unknowns were the worst! But I regrouped myself and with the support of my husband of 44 years, children, and church family I made it! My daughter gave me this verse…”Fear not for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10. Some people may laugh! That is what happened on another site I am on, but my faith in God is what helped me get through this for a second time!
I have learned that I am stronger than I ever imagined I could be and that I can stand up for myself more assertively than I ever thought I could! We are like tea bags. We don't know how strong we are until we get into some hot water!! Hugs and prayers!!
Surprised, sad and and disappointed that I did not receive support from several family members and friends. It was necessary and difficult for me to move on, find my supports and focus on healing. I need to say that I am grateful for the support and love I did receive. Previous to this diagnosis, which is stage 4, metastatic breast cancer, I did not have a strong faith. The blessing I have received is that I found the strength and peace from the light within that I call God. I will be forever grateful. Somedays are better than others, but I know I am not alone. Being able to express myself on this website, where I know you "get it" means so much to me. I hold all of you in my prayers. Thanks for listening, it's been one of those days!
I did not take it well. I was told the cancer is stage 4. I was basically paralyzed, I cried, I lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. GOD, family and friends support, an amazing medical team helped me keep going. I had no choice- I wanted to live as long as I could. 4 years later- still on treatment and still here! 💕
When I found out I didn’t have a bad reaction and I was not worried. God has his plan for me and he knew I could handle it. My family is very supportive and I told them “Now I could get that breast reduction I always wanted, lol”.
I only had a few moments when I cried by myself because I felt alone. I didn’t have pain. My family was very concerned and they were all there for me to lift me up.
