Yes, I am on the reclast infusion protocol. Know many individuals who do have the infusion to strengthen bones. I have had no negative experiences from this treatment.

I get it! I would be very confused too. I have a Reclast infusion every 6 months. So far, so good. You might want to check with the Oncologist and Pharmacy if, indeed, Fosomax and Reclast are the same. My hospital has a person I can contact in pharmacy who looked over all the pills I take, including vitamins and over the counter drugs to make sure that none of them could cause a problem with my cancer breast treatment. It is so important to be your advocate and find out the answers you need. Good luck.

I am supposed to start recast but endocrinologist told me it’s the same thing as fosomax (which I currently take for osteoporosis). Endocrinologist recommended I continue with fosomax. Oncologist is tecommending reclast. I am so confused.
