Anyone Have Experience With Care Outside The US?

Anyone Have Experience With Care Outside The US?

We have long been considering retiring over seas (approx 9 years out for us if I work to 67).
I am trying to figure out if this is still do-able. Availability of healthcare is high on the list of things a location must have.
For example, thinking of Panama- there is a Hopkins affiliated hospital in the capital, or Colombia, which has a high concentration of the best hospitals in Latin America.
Thanks

Hopkins in the states or overseas? (I used to work at Hopkins in Baltimore..)
Yes, absolutely a number of trips would be required ahead of time to figure out the right fit. We were supposed to go to Panama this past January and too much was shut down so we went to Costa Rica. Which was great..except for catching covid there. And now our first trip is delayed again!
