Finished iv chemo in August, had BMX in September, started radiation in November. I finish radiation on new years eve. Today, after my rad tx, the tech noted that my non-radiated right breast scar was reddened. I have no pain at that site. No swelling, warmth or drainage either. So I marked the area of redness with a marker and I am going to watch it over the next 4 days... the holidays with a little break from rads. I need a break. Skin is starting to get blisters and an area under my left axilla has sloughed when blisters popped.
Anyone else had anything similar to this red discoloration?

I do but it's going awsy,wierd but find myself still peeling when I wash with wash rag ut takes more i off,I feel it's so dry and after all this boobid was scorched inside out,burnt bad still dord finishs Nov 19 2018 its Dsc 18,2018,kinda looks like your losing pigmsntation

I had what two specialists called Blepharitis after TCHP and the meds with preservatives just irritated my eyes more. Preservative free steroid eye drops were very soothing. They had to be refrigerated. It has been over a month and the problem is still not resolved but is much improved I lost a lot of eye lashes but still have some. My hair just stopped Fallin out the last few days. It has been 2 months since my TCHP. I did not need a wig because I used Penguin Cold Caps

Thanks Kim! I appreciate your response to my question! I called my Radiation oncologist earlier to day. She said she is sure it is from the radiation... but to be safe going to see the Dr. tomorrow. Joined your team🙂 Hope things are going good for you!

There can be permanent changes to skin color after radiation. check with radiation oncologist.
