I was shocked that my prescription had not changed. I did get new glasses with a stronger Rx though for the reading part on the bottom. My eye doctor said chemo causes the ter ducts to dry up so the eye compensates in weird ways causing dry eye and then over produces the wrong type of tears. Also if you haven't had your blood glucose checked lately have your doctor check it. Higher Blood sugsrs definitely cause b,urriness and vision change. That is how my diabetes was discovered 11 years ago. I had gone to my eye doctor for blurriness and what I thought was vision change. He dilated my eyes and found microscoptic blood vessel leaks. He immediately ordered blood work and they found extremely high BP and Diabetes.

My vision changed alot. If you are on anti hormonal medication its recommended to have annual eye exams because the medication can affect the eye pressures.

My doctor prescribed Xiidira eye drops and Avenova lash spray for dry eyes.he used a dye on my eyes and was surprised at how dry they were. It explained the stabbing pain i was having. That was three months ago and i feel much better now. He also recommeneded i take fish oil daily, it helps with dry eyes. I stopped taking my alergy meds too becaus they dry out eyes. If you can get the perscription drops and lash wash youll notice a huge difference. Hugs💗
