With the Anastrozole, be mindful,of your bone health. Anastrozole causes osteoporosis.

I worked hard not to gain weight. I started at 140 and am 5’9”. So I was rather thin. I gained bout 20lbs. I work out 5 days a week and eat very healthy so I was surprised I gained the weight. After I went off it took a while but I am back down to 140 again and feel fantastic!!!

Ok thanks for ur answer. I did some research and the studies show that Anastrazole showed slightly better long term results. Is there anything they say to take to stave off the joint pain.

I also tolerated Tamoxifen pretty well. My hot flashes (which I had prior to starting Tamoxifen) are more frequent and more intense, but felt it was better than the alternative. Also attempting to lose weight is hard for me. Was recently switched from Tamoxifen to Anastrazole which I am having a little harder time tolerating (joint pain). So hang in there.
