I tried a couple of Facebook groups but I found them to have too much drama, sometimes mean and no info about who is posting.

Here, you can see everyone's story and in most cases, diagnosis. Not on Facebook. Some one may be HER2+ but then there is Stage, ER, PR etc... without all the info it's hard to know if you are really a match.

I find ladies here to be fair, insightful and always kind.

Maybe suggest break out forums to the @MyBCTeam folks? That would be an awesome idea. A Triple Negative forum, HER2+ etc....

@A MyBCTeam Member - the original F&F group also spent to much time hawking F&F stuff. They made SUCH A BIG DEAL of being flat as if it was some heroic decision. I couldn't deal with the dram and histrionics of the group, especially from the prophylactic members. For me, being flat ranks up there with having my ovaries and my gallbladder out-a medically necessary decision that didn't need much consideration.

Flat & Fabulous is a closed group on FB. You can request to join by filling out a few questions. I also belong to 2 Triple a negstive FB groups. If you go on FB and just tyoe in HER 2 support groups in the Search box you can find all the groups.

I think this is the best site after hearing all of the comments. Thank you all. I'll still check them out, but you guys are right. I only want to be a part of groups that have gone through what we have gone thru, Breast Cancer and Mastectomies.
