I had to have an emergency root canal after my first chemo. My oncologist and endodontist spoke and timed it between treatments to where my WBC wasn't too low. I was fine.

I also had to start a root canal days before my surgery due to the infection. I had to wait 4 months until my treatment was done before I could have it completed. It sucked.

I’m not overly worried since it happen this past Jan, same day as my DX I think. I just want to be sure it doesn’t get infected. Rinsing with salt water to help. Shouldn’t have had that one gummy bear!

I don’t have any personal experience to share regarding crowns, but I am so glad you are calling your ONC and dentist tomorrow. Darn!
