Heavy periods?

I was on Lupron during chemo from February 2017-July 2017. I started tamoxifen in November. I did not have a period until last month (about 6 weeks ago) It was light and spotty and I didn't suffer from cramps. Fast forward to today when I woke
up with typical cramps and my period. It all seemed normal until this evening when I began bleeding extremely heavily, extremely heavily. Has anyone else had heavier periods after chemo? I am also on xarelto due to having a DVT from my port. I… read more

Thanks @A MyBCTeam Member! I am doing well. We stopped the blood thinner and things improved. We shall see if I get a period this month, and what the flow is like! LOL

DVT is deep vein thrombosis, fancy name for a blood clot :)

I haven’t had any periods since Feb but I am almost finished with chemo, radiation next and then a different drug, not Tamoxifen. What is a DVT?
