Has anyone experienced abdominal pain with taxol? I took my 1 out of 12 treatment of taxol last week and have had cramps since, it feels like menstrual cramps. I have also experienced diarrhea the last 2 days. Just want to know if this is normal? I know diarrhea is a side effect but not sure of the cramps.
I had stomach cramps after my first taxol. Eating banana helped me. Probably some nutritional deficiency due to diarrhea I’m guessing.
I had number 6 Taxol of 12 Thursday. I do notice stomach cramps but only when I'm getting my injection.
I am not having cramps but lots of stomach distress. Gas, bloating, indigestion and pain. Oncologist suggested taking Prilosec every morning before eating. I have taken it 2 days and no difference is noted. Be sure to mention your symptoms to your doctor, they are there to help. Good luck!
I just finished Taxol. I did not have stomach pain but I do know that they asked me all time if I was having stomach pain. Make sure to let your doctor or oncology nurse know that you are having the cramping as this is something they should be aware of. Good luck with the rest of your taxol!
Sorry but I did not experience that.
