Nerlynx
Has anyone taken Nerlnx after Herceptin ? If so how re the side effects?
I had to discontinue Nerlynx. It literally made me sicker and had to miss more work than when I was going through chemo. The diarrhea was manageable, but I couldn't take feeling nauseous 24/7 for only a 2% reduction in the risk of recurrence.
I'm not done w/Herceptin (mine ends in Sept 2018) yet but I did mention NERLYNX to my onc as my tumor was Her2 positive. I'm going to do more research on it so I'm prepared to discuss when the time comes. I heard the worst side effect is diarrhea. Are you on NERLYNX?
Good to know. Thank you for the insight.
This is on my radar too... I’m surprised more people have not chimed I’m.. I’m over halfway done with Herceptin and that’s been fine
I'm supposed to start Nerlynx (Neratinib) after my last Herceptin treatment which is on January 30th. I'm also curious if anyone else out there is already on this medication and how they handled the side effects?
Anyone Taken Or Discussed With Their Oncologist To Take Nerulynx? Side Effects? What Is The Benefit Of Not Taking It? Brain Barrier?
