I'm newly diagnosed and just had a lumpectomy so this is still new to me, and maybe I'm in denial or a little misguided, but I'm hoping to avoid chemo. It would be great if all I need is the lumpectomy and radiation and call it good. I have 2 friends that had bc and had this treatment last year and as of now they are fine.
