The side effects from Femara are getting almost unbearable but am trying to be strong. Of course I worry
That every ache and pain is a recurrence..I'm so weak and achy!
Has anyone had this happen while taking it!? Thank you.

I began taking Femara )Letrozole) about three years ago. I still have aches and pains. Good days and not so good days. I try to stay active because that really helps. Pluse exercises reduces your risk of recurrence by 30%. I still struggle with a foggy brain, but has learned ways to help remember things and have returned to school for my MSW. I also have days when I am week and achy, on those days I give myself a break and relax. How long have you been on the Femara? When I first started the side effects were really tough, but have lessened over the years, but definitely not gone. Just reached my 5 years (NED) no evidence of disease, but still worry everyday about recurrence. I cut out about 98% of meat from my diet and trying to stay more plant based. I try to eat heathly, so times I succeed, sometimes, I do not. I hope you get to feeling better. Take it one day at a time.
