I was quite thin and ended up with very aggressive cancer, so I think the whole hogh BMI thing is fake. I am also a thin diabetic. I know a lot of diabetic's do the weight loss surgery to improve their diabetes.

Is one of your doctors recommending it- surgeon, Oncologist, etc.
My ONC implied I should consider it, because she said that having a high BMI = a higher chance of reoccurance , especially since my cancer was estrogen positive and it loves fat cells. However, I came to realize she harped on high bmi to nearly all her patients,even those with bmi that is barely considered too high. I told her I would make better food choices, and other healthier choices like walking, which I have done .
