I am starting radiation soon and just looking for any helpful info you ladies have to offer. What creams worked best for you? I did 12 rounds of chemo, had my mastectomy and sentinel node biopsy, and now waiting for radiation and I have no idea what to expect. Thanks Ladies !!!

The longest part of my daily radiation treatment is the drive to and from. Takes about 3-5 minutes to check in and change into gown then 3-5 minutes to get placed just right on table and zapped. So, to answer your question ... 5 minutes. I'm usually in and out in less than 10 minutes. Had mine scheduled early in morning so it didn't break up the day and hit work traffic.
I just finished 28 treatments and aquafor worked best for me. . The time does go fast.
Aquaphor is what I used & it helps. Don't put any kind of lotion, cream etc. on before radiation. It will be over before you know it. Wishing you the best.
