I realized that the small stuff doesn’t matter. I totally adjusted my attitude towards me, my family and friends. I found out who really cared and who didn’t and adjusted my approach to those who really didn’t care. I have a pretty good relationship with my 4 stepchildren or thought I did after almost 40 years of being with their father.
1 could care less, 2 were absolutely wonderful and 1 actually laughed when I told him. He’s no longer a part of my life and is slowly rebuilding a relationship with his father and I’m happy for that. I still have a way to go before I can get past what happened. I am stronger than I thought and will continue to get stronger. I thank God everyday for my husband, he has been my support through it all. And thank and pray for everyone on this journey🫶
