Ive found that being on AI's is a delicate balance. I feel better and am less stiff if i get more exercise but it has to be moderate exercise. If i do too much and several days in a row then i get really sore and stiff with the joint pain and just exhausted to then have to take several days off to get my energy back.

I have not been on that drug, but have survived cancer four times with various medications and definitely joint and muscle pain. Check your potassium and magnesium levels. I also find acupuncture and Epsom salts baths to be very helpful. Hang in there, it does get better!

I was taken off of Letrozole, it takes a good 2 weeks for the aches to go away.

I also experienced muscle and joint pain/weakness as well. For me it is all in my hips, legs and lower back. Recently my right knee started hyperextending, my oncologist took me off of letrozole. Now going to physical therapy for my knee, and my oncologist wants to get me back on the letrozole.

Thank you soooo much, Christina. You are so encouraging/ comforting. Great info too. I looked at AARP. Only eight plans available. I have an app w/ an ins broker today. I'd like to get the best bang for buck. My focus is for ins to cover all related to cancer and treatment. Thanks again
