I think my saving grace through diagnosis, surgery, and treatment was writing my cancer journal, although anger really wasnt one of the emotions I went through, . I would sit at my computer every day and write how that day had been with alot of times crying. When my treatment was over I felt lost because I didnt have family around as often, didnt have the appts to go to to fill the days when I really started feeling better so I started writing an emotions journal which helped alot and after a few months is when I decided I needed to go back to work, be around the "normal" in life again. My faith in God has allowed me to not have the emotion of anger and through prayer and listening to Gospel music have been very positive for for me.

After surgery and on Tamoxifen I was crying for 6-8 hours a day. I had no idea as to why but I knew this wasn't me. I did go on Venaflaxine and it definitely stabilizes me.
I think because I saw my Mom go through cancer young I always knew what I wanted to do if diagnosed.
I feel blessed it was found and I hope I can motivate others to be checked earlier than later.
I'm glad I'm alive and I truly get upset when I have to waste time on cancer, but I'm blessed with family & friends that know I love to laugh.
I try to focus on the blessings more than the problems knowing there is someone going through something harder than me.
I have had friends leave because people don't know what to say. I forgive but know I need those that stay.
It's hard at many different times from biopsy, treatment, surgery or medications.
Try not to push people away that love you. Just cry on them because they need to be needed too.
It's ok to go through times but not too long. People need you and you need them. Cancer doesn't define your life I think we change the image of a survivor.
I'm honored to be a survivor and would rather do this than have other people suffer, but I'm getting my life back a little at a time. I just want to laugh and enjoy the short life we've all been given.
I pray for your peace and love the people here. But you also need others not online and without cancer. Just take your time and talk to your doctor. Embrace your friends who stand with you and smile...we are still here. Anytime you want to talk I think people here are very special and help in ways they don't always know.
Much love to you ❤

Oh, yes indeed. Just before Christmas my husband and I were arguing about something so insignificant I blew it all out of porportion. I beat up a cheese grater. It was a bell shape now it looks like it went to war. I then ran away for an hour or so. I picked up my keys and drove around the block and parked to just sit in my car and cry. I was not really angry at him. It was just one of those days that I was thinking about my life with cancer. I was mourning the loss of my days to cancer treatment. I was mad for a while. Then came back to scold my husband more. I just didn't know at the time what my issue was until I really calmed down. It had been a while since agitation and sorrow crossed each others paths and blew up my emotions. I didnt recognize it until much later.

I agree with getting support from a bunch of sources as this illness is a big transition in one's life. For me I keep having to let go and deal with losses on so many levels . So much has changed and will continue to change in my life and for my loved ones. I try to optimistically face each new challenge all the while becoming more humble and focusing on being in the now. Medications can be a help as mentioned, along with support groups and therapists. The more support the better, hang in there

The truth I have not been angry at all. But yes very scared, low self esteem, and sad. Some days I cry with no reason. My body does not feel mines no more . My toes fingers feel wired. Avoid the mirror. So fighting this journey because the love of my family, and boyfriend. There positive support, encourages and love. They are blessings so amazing they are my world.
