What do you all wear for a bra?
I am almost 2 years post bilateral mastectomy (with reconstruction). I almost never wear a bra...More comfortable with a little cami/tank underneath clothes. I am getting ready for vacation (yeah!) and am finding that my thin t-shirts, tank tops and sun dresses reveal too much...Is there a brand that works best for us??
@A MyBCTeam Member I just went and bought camis. I saw some great ones on sale at Maurice's. As for prosthetics, nope. Don't wear 'em. Don't want 'em. Don't need 'em.
I never had reconstruction but I've invested in a lot of camisoles to wear under my clothes. I have certain tops that are a bit "see-thru" and wearing a pretty lace cami underneath makes me feel less "on display". But I'm really comfortable in my WALKING DEAD t-shirts so when I wear one of them, I don't wear anything underneath at all.
I bought sports bras from Walmart n took out the little padding in them. I have no boobs but still like to wear something under t-shirts
I've actually found myself wearing Hanes brand bras after my MX/Recon, which was a year ago. They have some pretty wirefree designs in various fabrics. They can be found at Target, Kohls, online, and even at WalMart. Enjoy vacation!
