Hi I had DIEP Flap surgery 5 years ago...Buy a recliner, it was the only comfortable place to lay for several weeks, getting in and out of bed would not have worked for me. I also bought a shower chair which really helped me take showers. plan on help and lots of it when you first get home. you will be ok, but it takes time and lots of it. Someone will need to carry wash basket for you. baby steps....baby steps...keep us all posted.. Eat , do not forget to eat and drink! lots of fluids.
