Avon Lake, OH

I started my Taxol/Carboplatein yesterday. My ONC talked about neuropathy as a potential side effect. He told me to take B-6 to prevent it. Since I am also diabetic , this is interesting. I normally take a B complex vitamin but it only has a small amount of B-6 in it. So I we to it and got a stand alone B-6 vitamin. has anyone prevented neuropathy using B-6?

I took and still take vitamin B6 and 12. Not really helpful. Acupunture has helped me.

@A MyBCTeam Member I had weekly as well. I used the cold mitts and gloves as soon as my IV started and took them off when the drip ended.

You use them during the chemo treatment. Here are the ones I used from Amazon.

Socks: NatraCure cold therapy socks
Gloves: Kozy Collar hot and cold microwave mittens.
