@A MyBCTeam Member, inclusion in this lawsuit does NOT preclude gratitude for its primary achievement, saving lives. The secondary achievement of permanent hairloss was known and not shared in good faith before the patient consented to use the drug; this is at the crux of the suit.
Consider that these two things are independent features of your use. If you decide to join in, it's because they denied you informed consent.

Thanks, that is helpful. I just always feel guilty and I m not sure I wouldnt have used it even if I knew it, as the study I was informed about was TAC, taxotere, adrimyocin and cytoxin. On the other hand if taxol would have been as effective, I would have used that. Oy

All good points, Karen. It is what it is, and I actually liked my bald head and received many compliments on it. I think I may try an Amber Rose look - bleached out and cropped close. Also, it will be cold soon - bald heads+cold weather - not so good. My hair used to keep my neck and ears warm, but now I have a ton of hats to wear :)

I hope you filed for the Taxotere class action suit. I did.. I have hair but really thin and baby limp/fine.

I'm still hoping it will improve. Take prenatal vitamins..In the meantime, maybe a hairpiece or scarves instead of wigs. I have wigs but I whip it off as soon as I get home because it's hot and itchy. Wearing a cap under the wig helps.

Bald seems to be in style. I'm not letting anyone cut my hair. I like hair. And the Femara hormone blocker pill is making my hair thin. I never had hair come out in my brush. I had thick curly hair.

Ive seen many women wear their head bald, and look absolutely beautiful. Or wear it in a buzz fashion either way it is beautiful. We've been through a lot so no matter what hair style we are beautiful. Prayers of blessings.
