I saw this on Facebook this morning and was wondering if it would be good for my bones. I am already in the high risk for Osteoperosis and 4 of my sisters and my mom have had it. I was wondering if it would be good to buy one and just bounce on it several times a day. It is also supposed to be good to move lymph fluid thru your body. I am going to ask at my appointment next week with the Lymphatic OT. Does anyone use a Rebounder?

I use to be a Zumba addict!!! Loved it. I still have expanders in and Jan 10 reconstruction is planned! Hope to return to it someday

@A MyBCTeam Member Those ZUMBA classes are huge. When I first started I would hide in the last row but gradually moved up front when I learned the moves. Eventually all the twisting and turning got to me and Imhad to stop. I will have to get a Bine Density test after I finish chemo. My bone scan showed no breaks so maybe I Escaped my family's curse of Osteoperosis. Before BC, I did a ton of walking, hiking and weight bearing exercise which is suppose to rebuild bones.

I love Zumba. I miss it. The classes at my gym were so overcrowded that it stopped being fun. I need to try going back. It's such a joy getting old! hahahaha Yes, I can imagine that those expanders aren't very comfortable. You'll be a different person when you have your foobs :D

I was diagnosed with osteopenia very young (in my 30s) and took bone-building drugs for several years back then. That's when I started running, so that I could blast those bones into rebuilding. I still haven't been able to run. I'm just starting to walk again, and if I could remember, I'd start yoga too.

I am very curious as well. I have osteopenia and am getting Zometa infusions now to prevent the bone loss. I still would like to start running again, but if I could also do this, that would be great.
