Anyone have nosebleeds with Ibrance or letrozole? I have had 2 nosebleeds today. None before in th entire 4 months on them. Waiting to talk to nurse on Monday. Just wondering how common this might be in real life terms. Pfizer indicates something like 10% of people experience this while on Ibrance. I am thinking my already low blood cell count is falling again. Kinda not liking that.
Oh yeah, it is the Ibrance causing the issue. My gums are bleeding now too. Stupid medicine!
I had them a few times with the Herceptin. My platelets were a mess, so I think it was caused by that. It took a long time to feel human again after a year of fighting.
@A MyBCTeam Member - I used to get nosebleeds on Herceptin/perjeta. I had always heard it had to do with low platelets.
@A MyBCTeam Member - I'm not on letrozole or ibrance and I occasionally get nose bleeds - not sure what causes them.
I'm on Letrozole with no nose bleeds.
