The leg cramps on Taxol were the worst and I took pain meds at night to sleep.
@A MyBCTeam Member, yes I had leg cramps, most of the time at night when I was trying to sleep. Sometimes they were pretty intense. I had to take pain meds for awhile.
If you received neulasta in combo with the chemo that can be what's causing the leg pain. This is my second course of chemo and the leg pain is pretty bad once again. It also seems to get worse as the treatments add up. I take ibuprofen and oxy especially at night when it seems it's worse. Talk with your dr about options so you can lessen the pain if necessary. Be good to yourself.
I just finished my 4th A C chemo. it feels like all my veins are tender to the touch in my legs. It feels like I have bruised them when I haven't. it is just an overall body pain.
My last 3 chemo sessions I had Docetaxel which gave me really bad leg cramps.I needed pain relief so I could sleep.Thats when I suffered with nerve damage in my feet which I still have today and I finished all my treatment in 2015
