Can anyone tell me how to save a conversation or put it somewhere in my profile so I can find it?
@A MyBCTeam Member - you can get the options on your phone if you don't use the mobile app. Just go to mybcteam.com site on google and it's just like being on a pc. The mobile app is very limited. I don't understand why but you can just go directly to the site and have the options.
To get to your homepage, click on your profile pic, and you will be led to your home page. Once on your homepage, you will see a button to click for posts you have added to favorites.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Karen and Patti, you guys are awesome!
Correct, the "favorites" option is not an option on the mobile app.
But yes, you can "favorite" a post, and then that post is stored on your home page, much like any pictures you download. I will note, however, you cannot favorite a response to a post. When you favorite a post, all of the comments are also saved.
This is why I encourage people not to keep tagging on to a particular post. It becomes difficult to find a particular comment, if there are, lets say, over 20 comments. I suggest starting a new post, especially if the comments start going on a tangent. I am not suggesting this as a discouragement to go off on a tangent, but rather to start a new conversation.
Also please notice some new features that just rolled out: A new and improved Help feature on the left side of the screen, as well as a simplified "quick start" button for new users.
@A MyBCTeam Member if you are using the phone app you can get to someone's story. Go to the newsfeed and find the name of the person whose story you want to read. Click on their name or their profile pic. It will bring you to their home page and options to click on things such as their story, their diagnosis, questions they asked in the q & a section, etc.
Apparently one can click the little drop down arrow to the right top of a question header (maybe even a post in activites?), where "favorite" will become an option. Click on this and it should show up in your "favorites". Apparently it's only available on PC, or, rather, I know this ISN'T an option on cell.
@A MyBCTeam Member might have more to add...
