Last on the list for Mayo clinic's list of uncommon side effects is unusual bruising. Giving a call to your Onco to make her aware is probably a good idea.

Worth mentioning to your Onco, if for nothing else than to have a record of it. Should he say it's of no consequence, still ask for the mechanics of tam causing extra bruising so that you have a better understanding of what the drug is doing to you (both for better and for worse). With that, YOU can agree or disagree that the side effect is of no concequence to you.

That is interesting. I have a lot of bruises on my legs, especially my lower legs. I don't feel any pain from them and I assumed it was largely from the dog shelter that I volunteer at, or from my own dogs, or from yard work, etc, however none of these things are new in my life and there are definitely more bruises than usual. I will have to keep better track of this and see if I can figure out whether it is a side effect or not. My bruises just look like regular bruises, would they look different ?

Yes I came off tamoxifen one month now and I was laying on a beach chair in my belly and I had light bruises where the chair was resting on my thighs been off one month still having some side effects Linger like the headaches but hopefully they will pass
