I'm on regular Tamoxifen. I was having real bad hot flashes then real bad chills. My Dr. Put me on venlafaxine, generic name to counteract those side effects. I still have them but not as bad. I hope you get relief. I know what you are going through.

Yes - Tamoxiphen for several years
Keep the ice water available to help you get relief
I always layered my cloths so I could get cool quick
I was not on any other medication to help with hot flashes

I think I was one more than one generic version as well, but it never made a difference. They just happened all the time! Actually, they still are now that I'm on anastrozole. Guess it's just me...

I guess it's still tamoxofen but various manufacturers make it! The different labs seems to have different fillers which can cause different side effects 😐

Sorry I was on the actual tamoxifen, and had horrible hot flashes. I didn't know there was generic. I'm sure someone here will be able to answer your question. I'll be praying that you can find a solution.
