I had a Masectomy 5 yrs ago. To commemorate my journey (27 yr survivor) I put a tattoo on my ankle. Heart with pink ribbon inside.

I had a Double Mastectomy with lymph node removal and I had nipple tattoo's done with no issues.

Really wow I had planned to do nipple tattoos and a small tat on the side of my left boob in reference to my journey , I'm gonna ask my surgeons and oncologist about this .

I agree yes u can but u can never have anything done on the side of lymph node removal. I'm a 21 year stage 3 with over 20 lymph nodes removed breast cancer survivor and I was told I can never have anything done on that side and I still get severe lymphdema to this day

I believe so, as long as you're not getting the tattoo on the arm where you've had your lymph nodes removed. Even after 5 years, you can still get lymphadema on the arm where you had the lymph node dissection.

If you're looking at getting tattoos on your torso or foobs, then I don't see why not. I'm just about 5 years past treatment and I'm still contemplating nipple tattoos and my oncologist has no issue with that.
