I have only been on armidex for just under three weeks. So far my side effects have been minimal...stiffness after sitting too long, and constipation.

Would love to hear from some of you ladies who have done okay with this treatment. Would love some encouragement and advise. My onc told me taking this drug upped my odds on a good prognosis a great deal.I never want to see the breast cancer beast again and really hoping and praying and trying to do all I can.

Thanks...

I have been on arimidex for almost 2 years with very few side effects. Fatigue is the side effect I notice, but I suppose that could be caused by a number of issues. My bone density hasn't changed, my hair dresser says no hair loss. The only issue I have is higher triglycerides which we're trying to control with diet and meds. Good luck. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

I have been in Arimidex for almost a year. I found taking 1000mg fish oil tablet daily help to eliminate the joint pain.

I have been on it for about two and a half years now. I do get stiffness in my joints and basically feel it is old age in a pill - but it's all tolerable. I have had bone loss so now am taking shots of Prolia to help with that. From what I read of other people's experience, I think I have got off lightly! Sounds like you are doing okay with it - good luck with everything:)

I've been taking Arimidex 1 year coming up mid-February. I've had an increase in tendon, muscle and joint pain but not to the point I felt I should stop the Arimidex. I had it before so it's relative but I'd rather deal with it and increase my chances against BC.

I take turmeric, which I believe has helped. I actually started it before the arimidex. I take flaxseed oil instead of fish oil.
