No bra! I was not able to have nipple sparing, and had double mastectomy, so no need. I do wear sports bra to gym, and Owen every color cami, I wear most days more for modesty, and sheer fabrics.

I don't wear a bra anymore because my PS said I didn't need to after getting my silicone implants. He said If I wanted to wear a bra, it had to be wireless. I love not wearing one!!

I am about to go for reconstruction and was told by my plastic surgeon I won't need a bra... so I will happy go braless... gotta have some perk to all this... I hated wearing bra's before cancer...

I don't wear a bra anymore since I received implants. The radiation did make my left breast quite hard and is a bit higher than the other, but it's not that evident. My surgeon told me that wearing an underwire was a myth. But to stay on the safe side, I'd wear wireless. I guess I'm many months late on this thread. Sorry!

Agree with the comments, talk to your Dr. I was told not to wear wire because it can rub and damage the reconstruction(especially if you have had alloderm added), and also because you don't have feeling if it does do damage you may not know!
