Hi Liz...yes I am on this combo, started in June so about 8 months. The side effects are pretty much menopausal from what I can tell, hot flashes and bone pain/stiff joints. I work out 6 days a week and have been going to acupuncture and it has really helped lessen these symptoms. I know other women who have been on Lupron and come off it and it their ovaries have seemed to bounce back. This drug combination is fairly new but based on the most recent study it is the best at reducing our risk for recurrence without the added risk of uterine cancer that tamoxifen adds. I'm on Tamoxifin and am feeling the menopausal side effects. I take Tylenol PM every night and find that helps a lot! My oncologist talks about switching me to AI, but I am worried about the osteoporosis.

I am on anastrozole and have really bad joint pain.Taking it day to day. Some days are better than others. Also take Ibuprofen for pain.

I am going to start Prolia injections next month, the newest studies have just come out saying that it provides a recurrence reduction rate as well as the other biphosphonates. Hoping there aren't many side effects to it, especially since it is apparently a form of immunotherapy.

Hello! I have received 4 Lupron injections and have been taking Anastrazole for about a month and a half. No side effects yet. I'm not sure how long it takes for the side effects to start? I'm praying if I have side effects that hopefully they are tolerable. I am very interested in hearing others experiences.
